I love September. It’s the start of fall, my favorite season. Some things I always associate with fall are pumpkins, fluffy blankets, and falling leaves. The best things in life, really. On the flip side I also associate fall with the beginnings of less sunlight and the anxieties that come with the start of holiday season. For many of us this season can be difficult in many ways. Family drama rearing its ugly head, seasonal depression rising as the sun sets, and hard confrontations with oneself as the year ends. Our hope is that we can take this month to talk about depression and anxiety in real ways and that we can shine a little light on a dark topic that affects most of us in different ways. May we remind ourselves that Jesus is the Prince of Peace and through Him all things are possible, even going through the hardest seasons. Happy fall and may God bless you!
