Our inspiration for the month of August is trust. We wrestle, struggle, and find peace when we place our trust in God. To trust is a difficult thing that can leave us feeling exposed and vulnerable. Especially in a world where disappointment is lurking around every corner. But even though the world lets us down, God will not. He is good and works all circumstances for the good of those who trust in him. In Proverbs 3:5-6 the following wisdom is given to the reader.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Even our own understanding, which evolves as we grow, learn, and experience, fails us. But if we submit our ways to the creator, who knows and loves us, he will direct our paths for our good. We hope that you are encouraged to place your trust in God this month. Knowing that He is faithful.
